MEET YOUR COACHES

Hi, I’m Lindy Edwards, co-director and one of the coaches at Shockwave Volleyball Club. Volleyball has been a lifelong passion of mine—both as a player and now as a coach. I’ve spent years playing and coaching at the club level, and each season reminds me why I love this sport so much. There’s nothing more rewarding than helping young athletes grow in skill, confidence, and teamwork.

Sports have always been a major part of my life. They’ve taught me discipline, resilience, and the value of hard work—lessons I strive to pass on to my players. As a coach, I lead with positivity, high energy, and a commitment to development. I believe in pushing athletes to reach their potential while supporting them every step of the way.

My vision for Shockwave Volleyball is to build more than just strong teams—we’re building a community. I want this club to be a place where athletes feel inspired, supported, and challenged, all while having fun and creating lifelong memories. I’m excited for what the future holds and grateful to be part of a program that’s making waves in boys volleyball.

Hi, I’m Coach Phi-Long Le, co-director and one of the coaches at Shockwave Volleyball Club. My journey in volleyball has been shaped by a genuine love for the game and a passion for helping others grow.  I’ve spent years playing recreationally and coaching, and I bring a unique perspective to the court. My experiences as both a coach and a mentor have taught me that success in sports is about more than just skills—it's about connection, communication, and confidence.

In addition to coaching, I’m a business owner and work in the field of therapy for children. This background has shaped my coaching style—to lead with empathy, patience, and a deep understanding of how to connect with and support young athletes. My goal is to create an environment where every player feels seen, heard, and empowered to grow.

What excites me most about Shockwave Volleyball is the opportunity to help build something meaningful. I want this club to be a place where athletes don’t just develop their volleyball skills, but also grow in confidence, character, and teamwork. I’m proud to be part of a leadership team that values both excellence and heart.
